Vulcan SA is company with over 110 years of experience in manufacturing components for the energy and oil equipment industry. Is founded in 1904 as a branch of the Austrian company „Machinen und Waggonbau Fabriks Aktiengesellschaft in Simmering” property of the “Brunn-Konigsfelder Maschinenfabrik” plants in Brno. In 1990 becomes a joint stock company having as major stakeholder the Romanian state, and in December 2002 is privatized having GET (Tender Group) as major stakeholder.

ENERGY EQUIPMENT – steam-boilers, industrial boilers, recovery boilers, hot water boiler, marine boilers (donkey boilers), power boiler pressure parts (membrane-wall, collecting, economizers, steamers, overheaters, cylinders , etc.), high pressure circuits and temperature for thermo-electric power stations, additional equipment for power boilers - coolers, coal mills, rotating-plate air preheater (Ljungstrom fixed coil) , nuclear power plant components.
OIL EQUIPMENT – pumping units for petroleum exploitation, medium and high power slewing gearboxes, for heavy plants.
INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT –medium and heavy steel fabrications, different industrial equipment which imply welded joints, piping, rolled tin, with application in various industries (chemistry, petrochemistry, metallurgy, shipbuilding, etc.).
VULCAN SA manufactures products according to the Quality Management System from 1983. The Quality Management System applies to all the activities that influence the quality of products and services performed by VULCAN SA. The products are manufactured in accordance with the highest international standards such as API Spec 11E for oil pumping units, and for energy equipment the European regulation PED and EN as well as the American ASME regulation apply, along with the Romanian ISCIR and CNCAN regulations.
VULCAN SA provides services such as: pre-assembly and assembly services, assembly technical assistance, on site works, repair works for steam and hot water boilers, tube bending, thermal treatments, mechanical processing, destructive and non-destructive mechanical testing.
